Business Partnerships Agenda

The Business Partnerships Organisation evolved in line with modern employee relations practice to consider the whole picture of staff motivation and engagement with their companies and their relations with other partners. The original aim was to create a sea change in British workplaces by establishing partnership as the modern and successful approach to industrial relations which has been enhanced by this more holistic approach.

The Business Partnerships Organisation remains guided by the same principles of partnership as were first established at the start of the industrial revolution:

Forward thinking businesses realise that team building event programmes and motivational corporate events need to become part of the company culture and feature in the long term plans of an organisation, rather than as a one off event to provide a quick fix solution.

Forming great relationships and commercial and non-commercial partnerships with respected organisations is a well worn route to realising your future business plans for good reasons. Some of the most successful businesses have strong links to organisations you would not normally expect. They have understood the leverage they can get from these relationships.

Many businesses operating in the Eurozone are finding exporting goods to the United States of America extremely hard right now due to the Euro to Dollar exchange rate going against them. Similar problems are now surfacing in the United Kingdom as the GB Pound strengthens against the Euro. Manufacturers throughout 2008 were pleased parity was achieved

The best businesses are those which allow their workers to stay in touch. And because many of today’s companies have offices in several locations, conference phones may be used for communication. The Polycom SoundStation is a good example of a conferencing unit that is used to keep businesses connected, both with colleagues in different places and other companies as part of a prosperous working relationship.

For office morale, employee recognition, and client appreciation, remember the power of fresh flowers. According to research, flowers in the workplace actually boost creativity, and flowers sent as a gift increase feelings of overall happiness, well-being, and satisfaction.

Anyone who has ever owned their own business or even attempted to start their own business is no stranger to the world of business finance. The financial aspects of all commercial business loans in Australia is extremely important whether one is starting up, maintaining the production of a current business, or thinking of increasing the size and revenues of a currently operating business.

Sound Partnerships involve a sound Business model combined with environmental policy. Gone are the days of a quick buck and no one minds where I source my raw materials from. Certain companies Shutters Themselves from that responsibility and ignore even the most basic guidelines. We are all responsible for the environment and should all look after it.

Some of our shared goals are:

Shared commitment to the success of the enterprise

Effective partnerships are ones where employee representatives and employers have a shared understanding of the organisation's business strategy and a joint commitment to its success.

Recognition of legitimate interests
Genuine partnerships recognise that employee representatives and employers will have differences in interests and views. There should be arrangements to resolve these differences in an atmosphere of trust.

Commitment to employment security
Many employers embrace partnership as a way of increasing flexibility in the workplace. Good partnerships complement flexibility with action to improve employment security in the workplace.

Focus on the quality of working life
Partnership should broaden the scope of employment and organisational issues tackled by employee representatives and employers. It should lead to improvements to terms and conditions and more opportunities for employees to participate in decisions about their work.

Transparency
With successful partnerships, managers share information with employee representatives about the business at an early stage, and conduct meaningful consultations with employee representatives and the workforce.

Win-win
The hallmark of an effective partnership is whether it delivers concrete improvements to business performance, terms and conditions and employee involvement. Partnership is about mutual gains for the workforce and employers.
